The Wheelyboat Trust relies on the support of individuals, companies and charitable organisations to fund its activities, including new Wheelyboat placements and the development of new models. There are many ways you can help the Trust both financially and otherwise to continue as a successful charity and to expand further in the future.

Donations

We offer several ways in which you can make a financial donation to the trust.

Online

Donations can be made using the Charities Aid Foundation secure online payment system.

Donations can be made by post using one of the forms below. Gifts of any amount are hugely appreciated but if you can afford a regular monthly or quarterly donation by standing order it would make such a difference.

If you are a UK tax payer both forms provide the facility for us to reclaim tax on the donation through the Gift Aid scheme, thus increasing the benefit that your gift gives to the trust.

Legacies

We all need to write a will so that we can help protect the future of our family and friends. When it comes to writing yours, please consider a gift to The Wheelyboat Trust. You have undoubtedly enjoyed the fresh air and freedom of the countryside and quite possibly the spray of fresh or salt water on your cheeks. You know how important activities like these are to your wellbeing. A gift to the Trust in your will is a guarantee that disabled people whose choices are limited will benefit from the freedom and exhilaration Wheelyboats provide.

In Memoriam

Rather than sending flowers in memory of a loved one, family and friends often prefer donations to a particular cause close to the loved one's heart. These gifts help us continue providing a service that makes such a difference to the quality of life for so many. Your funeral director will be able to organise this for you.

Volunteers

Volunteers provide crucial support and publicity in the regions – attending shows, visiting current and prospective venues, organising fundraising events, talking to groups and organisations, promoting and publicising the Wheelyboat and the work of the Trust. Vacancies exist, please contact the Trust if you think you can help.
